  1. Samsung confirms Galaxy Unpacked event for January 14. The rumored galaxy lineup – Galaxy S21, S21 Plus, and S21 Ultra – are expected to be unveiled in the event. The event will kick off at 7AM PT / 10AM ET.

  1. LG to showcase a transforming, bendable OLED gaming monitor in CES 2021. The monitor would be a 48-inch 4K “Bendable CSO (Cinematic Sound OLED) display” – it can switch between a flat screen and a curved screen with up to 1,000mm radius for immersive gaming experience. The monitor supports variable refresh rate between 40Hz to 120Hz.

  1. POCO teases sequel to its F1 lineup of smartphone. But unlike its predecessor which included flagship specs at a budget price, the upcoming F2 will likely house a mid-range Snapdragon 732G. Other expected features of the phone are: quad rear camera, 4,250mAh battery with reverse charging and a 120Hz display (not confirmed).

  1. SpaceX will try to “catch” its next generation of booster rockets. The process involves effectively hooking the super heavy rocket using the tower arm before it reaches the ground, “using the grid fins to take the load”. This method could save SpaceX from adding legs to its rocket.

The new design is supposedly for Tesla Model S. Another rumor is that the spotted design may be intended the upcoming Model S Plaid, a high-performance variant of Tesla’s flagship sedan.
