Do What You Want To Do

Presented with an unexpected opportunity that can define the next phases of our lives, at times we hesitate to accept it mainly out of fear: fear of change and fear of the associated risk. If such opportunities have the potential of giving us what we have longed for, we should always go for it because at the end of the day the pain of regret is always greater than the pain of failure.

But the question still remains: how can we convince ourselves to go for “that” opportunity?

Analyze the risk. Break down its impact to the most granular level. Now ask a simple question: Can I face the consequence of failure? If it’s a yes. no matter how feeble this “yes” is, go after the opportunity.

Following this, an avalanche of thoughts may come to our mind, paralyzing the very prospect of taking a call of whether to still go ahead or not. It is at these moment, we have to close our mind and pursue the opportunity with persistence and focus.

After all, we have just one life baby!!!
