Life Long Learning

To keep up with the fast-paced world, we need to be aware of the ongoing trend and what’s to come. To have our skillset bear relevance for turning opportunities into profit, we need to train ourselves on a regular basis to meet the rapidly changing current and upcoming demands. And we have all been exposed to age-old sayings advocating the benefits of being a life-long learner.

But amidst all the hectic schedule and changing day-to-day requirements, how to ensure regular learning?

The answer lies in a disciplined and manageable approach to learning something. While the former is non-negotiable, the latter is equally important to ensure we build up a learning habit sustainably for the long-run. Heo to do that? The simplest yet the most effective manner is to start with a small time slot dedicated each day to learning. This slot can be as small as 15 mins during which we should disconnect from everything else and dedicate ourselves to upskilling only. It should be treated just as another task of the day to overcome any temptations of procrastinations. 15 mins each day over a year can help us cover two to three different skillset of varying complexity in a easy and timely manner. And once the habit is formed, we can focus on the next stage of learning by extending the duration by another 5 to 15 mins.

A smart and manageable approach combined with discipline can help us in perceiving learning not as a boring, time consuming task but as a means to an end towards our goals.

Work hard but be smart. Happy Learning.

See you tomorrow !!!
